about me

I got my start quite a ways from St. Charles to be honest. Living in the 314 area code and being part of St. Louis to be exact.

I graduated from Pattonville High School and found myself searching for a school. Sadly my first choice left me more confused about myself, my schooling and my future. Then I discovered St. Charles Community College and things began falling into place.

I have been at SCC for a year and a half now and I am still in love with it, just like I was on day one. After SCC, I hope to transfer to UMSL to pursue my BS in nursing.

When I am not at school I am usually working at The World's Foremost Outfitter, Cabelas! When I am not working or in classes I am doing homework, hanging with friends, shopping and possibly watching a few guilty pleasure reality shows.

And no matter what, I am usually on Facebook or Twitter throughout the day. I have big passions for baking, fashion and nail design, which you may see a bit of if you read my blog.

Finally, I love meeting new people so if you ever wanna stop me feel free! I have a quite a few nick names too, such as Shebe (my favorite), Sheebs, Shelby Welby, Shelbers and Shel. If you have one to add feel free. It's always fun to see what people come up with.

Doodles, scribbles, and strange things! PT. 1 (edit))

COME HITHER!

I want everyone who views my blog to grab their cell phones or camera and take a picture of little doodle's and scribbles they make in their notebooks and on papers.

I got this idea from my math class when I couldn't help but doodle some song lyrics and pictures in my notebook. I realized I must look silly as I become so engrossed with my drawings which in truth aren't all that good. I have a love of drawing cartoon food items which some people find strange to be honest. But I wanna see what you lovely people draw. As long as it's school appropriate I'll post it.

My plan is to collect as many drawings and doodles so I can post them in a PT.2 on the blog. Think of it as a mini SCC student art exhibit for doodles, scribbles, and strange things.
