I want to apologize to everyone. I have been a terrible blogger these past few weeks. I promised pictures and have not gotten them up yet.

The last few weeks have been a bit of a roller coaster. I broke up with my boyfriend of 3 years. After doing the long distance thing through college I thought we could get through anything. However views change, people change, and the things you want in life change as well. Relationships aren't easy, and ending one isn't either. I could probably go on all day about my little sob story but that doesn't get to the point.

I WILL have those pictures for you all by the end of the week!

Doodles, scribbles, and strange things! PT. 1 (edit))

COME HITHER!

I want everyone who views my blog to grab their cell phones or camera and take a picture of little doodle's and scribbles they make in their notebooks and on papers.

I got this idea from my math class when I couldn't help but doodle some song lyrics and pictures in my notebook. I realized I must look silly as I become so engrossed with my drawings which in truth aren't all that good. I have a love of drawing cartoon food items which some people find strange to be honest. But I wanna see what you lovely people draw. As long as it's school appropriate I'll post it.

My plan is to collect as many drawings and doodles so I can post them in a PT.2 on the blog. Think of it as a mini SCC student art exhibit for doodles, scribbles, and strange things.

Flash Mobs!

Maybe it's just me ... or possibly every other girl in the world who loves to dance but don't you just wish you could be part of a flash mob? Be part of a group of people to come crash a public location and bring entertainment to unsuspecting civilians? Or just dress up in great outfits and take a place by storm? Well I certainly do.

Now I have completely thought out every detail here. We need a flash mob at SCC! First I would need a set of directors. We need one person in charge of choreography, one for music, one for getting it all on camera, and a fashion director planning out the attire. Collect about thirty-five to fifty students to get together to learn a routine. Perfect the routine. Then take the campus by storm once it's nice enough. See easy as pie.

What could be better then a flash mob youtube video as publicity for the school? Nothing!

Dun Dun Dun..............School!

Tomorrow at 11:30 am I will be sitting in the administration building room 2109, in chemistry, wondering where my break went. Now I fully enjoyed my break but there is always a sad feeling the first day you come back from break. You suddenly feel as if spring break can't come soon enough and how you could have been doing something about 10X more fun then learning about a periodic table.

Even though these thoughts will be in my head I will still be excited for class..... 'cause I'm a nerd of course! I'm actually excited to learn about chemistry. I have been loving my science classes and this one will be no exception. The only bad thing about this semester is taking two eight week courses. The first eight weeks is intermediate algebra while the second eight weeks is college algebra. I have never been the best at math so I am a tad bit nervous but I was able to ace a five week statistics course so I am hoping for the best. If anyone has any advice on math or is looking to be a kind soul and tutor me it would be much appreciated!

no classes....but im still here

Yes it is true, I am still here at SCC campus and I don't even have class. Why might I be wasting away my Christmas vacation at a school who's finals tore my brain to pieces? Books. Yes library books that needed to be returned. Papers I had to complete during finals that were in need of extra literature are now my downfall. I had two books due the 17th of December and here I am on the 19th, in the school library typing away after returning said books.

Now this may not seem like a big deal but this morning I was trying to figure out how much my tuition would be for the next semester. I couldn't look up my classes, grades, or even my account summary on SCC Connection. All because of two books I forgot to turn in. Thankfully as soon as I turned in my books I was able to get online to view my account information and now I am typing away to you.

And here we go. The girly girl is coming out in me. I have ditched the fake nails and it's time to go back and begin going crazy with nail decorations. As tempting as it is to just jump into Christmas themed nails I found this while scouring the nail tutorials and found something I must try first. For all of the trend groupies out there here is the latest thing!

Magnetic Polish

Say what?!?!?!?!?

Yep with different colors to choose you apply two coats and place the magnet up to the polish and you have a cool nail effect.

For great choices in magnetic polish or any sort of top notch nail polish I prefer either Sephora or Sally's.

Why is this really that important? Well later this week I plan on sharing with everyone my tips and tricks to relaxing during finals week.

And pampering myself with a manicure/pedicure is just one thing on my list.

Computer viruses and my blogger app.

:( My first blog is going to start off sad which is not how I wanted this to go. During a quick edit of my draft on the topic of Black Friday I noticed my computer running slow. Then my poor Toshiba was dreadfully attacked by a virus. Not just any virus but it pretended to be a virus protection software. Then after a day of trying to fix that another virus swamps my computer. I am no computer wiz so I plan on taking it to Best Buy and getting my laptop cleaned up. Goodbye paycheck.

I know a lot of students suffer through this same problem. I have used Norton which is a popular and always recommended virus protection software, but they have failed me. Does anyone know of a better anti-virus software? So until then...

I shall use the amazing Blogger app from the Android market. Thankfully I have this on my phone. I look forward to sharing so many pics and stories right as they happen. That's the beauty of a mobile app. Our phones are always with us anyway, why not be able to access everything with a press of a button? That way we can check email away from the office, check out our friends' vacation pics while we are on vacation, check out movie times on the way to the theater and even order a pizza when we can't find the number.

So thankfully Blogger has given me the ability to blog via my phone which is both a blessing and a curse... I'm pretty sure it's possible to get carpal tunnel from too much QWERTY keyboard typing.
